Leeds Festival of Kindness, Compassion and Wellbeing launches online on Sunday 6th September!
Are we ready for a Kindness Revolution?
Our first festival offers just a small selection of the many inspiring initiatives that go on in Leeds on a regular basis but we hope that you will join us in our objective of making Leeds and beyond, a great place to live. Our wise owl (called Darwin) says – it all starts by asking- “How can I make myself a kinder place?”
With the effects of the pandemic, economic uncertainty and the issues raised by Black Lives Matter weighing on us all, there is no better time to come together to share and celebrate the hope that the many acts of kindness, taking place within our city, represent.
Leeds Festival of Kindness, Compassion and Wellbeing launches online on Sunday 6th September. There’s a whole week of free events you can watch from the comfort of your own home. Each day has a different theme of kindness. Our online events range from practical tips for self-care and wellbeing, to amazing conversations about ideas of how to ‘build back better’ including a range of webinars, videos, new performance releases, interviews, panel discussions and challenging conversations.
