Six Ways to
A Kinder World

KINDER TO SELF

The foundation of individual wellbeing, as well as our ability to contribute to others and society, is the ability to be kind to our self.

KINDER RELATIONSHIPS

Being able to give as well as receive is vital to our relationships. Family, friends, work colleagues and neighbours play a significant part in our health and wellbeing.

KINDER BUSINESS

Kinder businesses recognise success is more than the bottom line. It’s about the wellbeing of customers, employees & nature. Increasingly, we all want to be customers of kinder businesses. So success depends on finding creative ways to walk our talk.

KINDER SPACES

We spend a lot of our lives working, learning or playing. If our public and private spaces are supportive of us all, we can create a kinder inclusive world in which we can be better at what we do and more satisfied with our lives.

KINDER COMMUNITIES

Having somewhere to live, supportive social networks and a community to belong to – has a significant and positive effect on health, wellbeing and our ability to live flourishing fulfilling lives.

KINDER TO OUR PLANET

Nature is a part of us. It is not separate. It’s the foundation of our wellbeing. How we treat Nature and our one and only planet, affects us directly – from what we eat, to how we grow, to how we travel & what we buy.

These are the themes of the Festival Week, which has been organised so that a day has been allocated to each theme.
